The new POLDER quintet is led by versatile bass player/composer Guus Bakker, featuring Andreas Suntrop (guitar), Pim Dros (drums), Nils van Haften (saxophones) and Vincent Veneman (trombone).
Inspired by the style of musicians such as Dave Holland, Avishai Cohen and Scott Colley, POLDER brings you bold grooves with surprising turns, dynamics and changes of metre, horn sections combined with shredding guitars, solemn ballads, with a nod to 'classic swing'.
